Come per le reflex, le lenti di una mirrorless sono intercambiabili per rispondere a qualsiasi esigenza; sono presenti anche tutte quelle funzioni tipiche delle fotocamere di fascia alta. Il mirino, talvolta assente, nelle mirrorless è un piccolo display che permette di mostrare anteprime più sofisticate rispetto a quelle che si ottengono con un mirino ottico.
L’obiettivo permette di ottenere delle lunghezze focali (rispetto ad un 35mm) di 27-84 mm con un fattore di zoom pari a 1x. Alla lunghezza focale minima questa lente è adeguata per riprendere paesaggi, gruppi di persone o anche vedute panoramiche; il modesto zoom non è una limitazione se si impiega questa lente soprattuto per ritratti o soggetti abbastanza vicini.
La risoluzione del sensore è di 24 Mpixel; lo schermo posteriore ha una diagonale di 3".
