OCU has organized a webinar to present MILE21 in Spain involving representatives of the Association of car manufacturers (ANFAC), the Association Electric Vehicle (AEDIVE), the Spanish Government, and journalists.

Altroconsumo has organized a webinar involving relevant representatives of the car industry (SHARENOW, BMW Group), associations of car producers (UNRAE), online car dealers (MiaCar), and journalists.
EMISIA, partner of the project MILE21, has presented the first overview of MILE21 users: 4.000 users have registered their car and have started to use the developed service.
BEUC has organized a presentation of MILE21 involving relevant consumers organizations from Bulgaria, Slovenia, Greece, and Lithuania. During the event, the different modalities of integration of MILE21 have been explained.
MILE21 has been officially released on September 15 and launched on September 17, during a webinar organized by Altroconsumo. The launch in Belgium, Spain and Portugal is foreseen in October.
The CO2 Reduction for Transportation Systems Conference under the patronage of the Society of Automotive Engineers took place as web-meeting between 7 and 9 July 2020. The conference was an opportunity to publish a conference paper under the title “A Methodology for Monitoring On-Road CO2 Emissions Compliance in Passenger Vehicles”. The paper describes a methodology that enables easy on-road data collection from vehicles and the development of the respective simulation models. Further development of this work will contribute in the development of the MILE21 simulation models.
The 3rd Advisory Board meeting took place as a web-meeting due to the Covid-19 on the 19th of May. The partners informed the Advisory Board members on the project’s activities and received feedback.

The 23rd International Transport and Air Pollution Conference took place in Thessaloniki in May 2019 and Emisia had the chance to present their project. For this reason, a brief explanatory video was created that explained the activities of the MILE21.
The LIFE Information day was organized in Warsaw by the National Fund For Environmental Protection and Water Management of Poland with the aim to inform applicants about the LIFE program opportunities. The MILE21 consortium was invited to present the activities of the project to as a demonstration of a LIFE project in environmental topics and of successful collaboration between beneficiaries from multiple countries.

È stato costituito l’Advisory Board di MILE21: Georgios Fontaras, Senior Researcher presso JRC; Dorothee Saar, Head of Transport and Air Quality Team presso Deutsche Umwelthilfe – DUH; Sheila Watson, Deputy Director - Environment and Research – presso la FIA Foundation; Gabriele Grea, consulente scientifico e ricercatore presso l’istituto GREEN Research Center – Università Bocconi.
Il primo meeting ristretto dei partner del progetto si è tenuto nella Scuola di Ingegneria Meccanica, Laboratorio di Termodinamica Applicata.
Dopo la firma del Grant Agreement, MILE21 durerà dal 01/09/2018 fino al 31/08/2021
