Unfair and dishonest charge using the security deposit. We rented a motorhome from Indie Campers Milan Malpensa - Pick-up Center in Feb/2026. Family trip. They delivered the vehicle with internal problems that we only discovered during the trip. We decided to return it before the end of the rental period after the dashboard went out on the road. We went through the return procedure with 2 people from the team (one of them Brazilian, so there were no communication problems). Nothing was pointed out to us, and everything that was discussed when we presented it to them was said to be not our responsibility (lack of kitchen equipment, bathroom with a smell problem, water system failure, terrible support, damaged awning, etc.). Everything was discussed, and they told us it was okay and without any problems. We answered a questionnaire and gave a bad rating, especially the vehicle delivery process and the support during the trip. We returned from the trip, and the surprise came when I questioned, 4 days later, about the non-refunded/cancelled security deposit. They charge around 950 euros after an internal audit that found damage to the front of the car (photos that show nothing but dirt!). They conduct an audit after delivery without your presence and charge whatever they want using your deposit!!! There's nothing you can do but take the shock and contact your bank to try and get some reimbursement. They are dishonest and do this routinely, especially with tourists (see the volume of complaints about this company worldwide). Unfortunately, I didn't see these reviews beforehand and I'm now at a total loss!! Don't do business with them, as the employees are also dishonest, participating in this scheme by this Indian company that uses AI to deceive people. This complaint is posted here to warn others!!
