In March 2023 I bought the ION Neo top 0,5 LS Men 2022 48 - S / 292 Steel Grey I48222-4202.5 , S/C: 2183212 (06/2022), from the German store “you-love-it.eu”
This ION jacket is made of two different kinds of fabric: one for the grey fabric and another one for the black fabric. The black fabric is at the chest level, front and back, and on the cuffs.
In 6 months of effective use, once or twice a week, this ION jacket has lost shape, the cuffs became much larger and the back and front black bands let water enter easily (you can see the light through now).
Since I bought the ION jacket, I took care of it as suggested. I washed it in cold water only, without any detergent, dried it in the shadow and never used iron.
Along with the ION jacket, I have been wearing a Head neoprene shorts, which are still in perfect condition.
As you suggested, I reported the quality problem to the seller “you-love-it.eu”. The seller refused any support (it said just "wear and tear"). Which is a terrible answer, a careless attitude toward its customers and represented brands.
I know my rights and am ready to go even to court in Germany, I have already contacted the UE Dispute Resolution center and a consumers' association to get legal support.
You are the manufacturer of the ION jacket and you must take action to solve the problem for ethical, legal and commercial reasons. Your business image will be negatively affected by bad publicity.
