we are Barbara Poloni and Aldo Frigenti, parents of Emma and Jacopo Frigenti.
in June our kids attended the "work&learn" programme in Malta from 16 to 30.
We choose the same program of study+work based on the positive past experience they had with you in Dublin.
unfortunately, the work experience they had this year was not as satisfactory as last year's, which is why we had written to you asking for the change of schedule.
since it was an internship and not a volunteer work they should have found work realities suitable for kids their age looking for growth experience but this was not the case.
after a few days I wrote to you to ask you to change the program from work and study to study only.
since there is a big difference in price between the two types of programs I asked you to meet me and give me a refund but you told me that your conditions do not provide for it.
I read your conditions carefully and it only mentions the non-refundability of the language courses--for which our children have been very happy--and there is no reference whatsoever to the work activity.
since you have not responded anymore to my last email we decided to turn to the Italian consumer association of which we are members and write to you through them.
we trust that you will be able to adjust the level of the quality of the internship service you offer to the positive level of your language courses and that you will recognize us the difference in price paid for something that our children have not enjoyed.
