I am filing a complaint regarding a return refusal and poor in-store treatment at a Weekend Max Mara store in Rome.
I returned to the store on 3 May with the receipt and tags available to request a return. However, the return was refused from the beginning. The staff member did not ask me which items I wanted to return or how many items were involved, and I was not given a clear explanation of the applicable return policy.
What concerned me most was the way the situation was handled. I felt the staff member was dismissive and uncooperative, and I was asked to leave instead of being offered a proper explanation or escalation process.
I later contacted Weekend Max Mara Customer Care. They stated that the items showed visible signs of use and wear, including stains and dirt, and that the decision was final. However, I was not provided with the photos, inspection notes, or specific details showing where these issues were identified on each item. My separate complaint about the in-store treatment was also not properly addressed.
I am requesting a fair review of both the return decision and the service complaint. My preferred solution is a refund. If a refund is not possible, I would be willing to consider an exchange or store credit. I also ask the company to provide the relevant return policy, the inspection details/photos supporting their decision, and a written response regarding the in-store conduct.
