Dear Domestika Team,
My name is Luca Lonardi, and I hereby notify you of my withdrawal from the contract associated with the Domestika Plus subscription, activated on January 4, 2025.
On December 4, 2024, I purchased a single course (lifetime access) for $0.99 USD with the following transaction details:
• Transaction Code: 1YM95638VG664940V
• Transaction Date: December 4, 2024
• Merchant: Domestika Inc (cursos@domestika.org).
Subsequently, a fraudulent 30-day free trial for Domestika Plus was activated without my consent, leading to an unauthorized charge of $129.99 USD (€132.22) on January 4, 2025.
I would like to emphasize the following:
1. I never consented to the activation of the free trial, nor was I adequately informed of the terms and conditions that would lead to the automatic renewal of an annual subscription.
2. I exercised my right of withdrawal immediately, canceling the subscription on the same day the charge occurred (January 4, 2025).
3. I have not used the Domestika Plus service at all, as can be verified through the access logs linked to my account.
Under the laws governing distance contracts, I am exercising my right to withdraw within 14 days of the subscription activation date (January 4, 2025). I hereby request a full refund of the charged amount, $129.99 USD (€132.22), to be credited back to the payment method used (PayPal).
Given the above, I formally demand that DOMESTIKA, INC. recognize and refund the amount that was unjustly charged. If the amount is not refunded within 15 days of receiving this notice, I will have no choice but to take further action, including escalating the matter to the relevant judicial authorities and reporting it to the appropriate bodies for unfair commercial practices.
This notice also serves to interrupt any statute of limitations related to my economic and legal rights.
I look forward to an urgent resolution of this matter.
