Hi, I was traveling from Ljubljana to Trieste on the 12/04/2023 at 10:20 and the driver never asked anyone for documents, which didn't make me realize that I left my documents in the locker of the hotel. I was going for a day in Trieste and then coming back to Ljubljana, with my boyfriend that also the documents in the locker. In terms and conditions of Flixbus it says the driver must check the documents before entering the bus, our driver never did, which made us get a huge fine when stopped by the police 30 min away from Ljubljana. If the driver did his job, we would have noticed and couldn't enter the bus, but the driver, always in a hurry or for some other reason, didn't do it. In other places, the driver would also get a fine, but maybe it is not the case in Slovenia and that's why he didn't care about checking anyone. I would like the money back for that trip, once the whole day was ruined by having to pay 200 euros in fine.
