I am filing a formal complaint against Vinted regarding multiple unfair transaction cancellations , loss of items without payment 137€, and a wrongful account suspension.
In the past 30 days, I have acted respectfully, followed all procedures, and waited patiently for support. Instead, I have faced repeated inaction, blocked access to dispute tools, and decisions that directly caused financial loss.
Case 1 – Poste Italiane return issue (06/02/2026 – 12/03/2026):
I received a pickup notification for a returned parcel. However, official confirmation from Poste Italiane proves the parcel never arrived. Despite this, Vinted marked the tracking as “delivered” and avoided compensation.
Case 2 – False claim and item loss (22/03/2025):
The buyer first complained about size and made offensive and false accusations. I accepted the return. Due to my account being blocked, I could not access the return process. The buyer then changed the claim to “counterfeit” and refused to return the item. Despite my proof of authenticity, the order was cancelled, the buyer refunded, and I lost the item.
Case 3 – Unjustified return request and cancellation (19/03/2025):
The buyer requested a return for personal preference (“color not ideal”), which I reasonably rejected. I asked Vinted to intervene but received no support. The order was cancelled, the buyer refunded, and I lost the item without any possibility to respond or recover it.
Case 4 – Wrongful account suspension (18/03/2025):
My account was banned for alleged fraudulent activity and counterfeit items. These accusations are completely unfounded. I sell authentic items and maintain a 100% positive feedback profile. This automated suspension blocked all dispute and return functions, directly enabling buyers to exploit the situation and take my items without payment.
This situation is unacceptable. I have suffered financial loss (€137) and significant distress due to Vinted’s failure to provide fair procedures or basic seller protection.
I formally request:
1. Full reimbursement of €137 for the lost 3 items
2. A clear explanation of the handling of all cases
3. Review and correction of my account suspension
4. Restoration of proper access to dispute and return functions
If no satisfactory resolution is provided, I will proceed with further legal and consumer protection actions.
I expect a prompt and serious response.
