Spett. DoYouItaly, In data 25/10/24 ho prenotato un auto a noleggio tramite il vs portale (rif. DYI-156072923, ritiro 19/04/2025 alle 23.30, volo FR8914 come indicato sulla prenotazione), concordando un corrispettivo pari a 129.47€ all'arrivo e 37.17€ come acconto. La compagnia di noleggio scelta era la Maggiore dell'aeroporto di Brindisi. In data 19/04/2025 siamo arrivati alle 23.30 come segnalato in prenotazione, ma l'agenzia era chiusa ed i numeri indicati erano irraggiungibili o fuori orario. Sottolineo che eravamo in 4 con due bambine (4 e 9 anni), di notte senza possibilità di risolvere il problema tramite Voi o la Maggiore. Abbiamo quindi dovuto prendere un taxi privato per un totale di 130€ (allego ricevuta). Ho poi aperto dei ticket sul vostro portale (rif. 5244108, 5243481) per segnalare l'accaduto ma ha risposto solo il risponditore automatico "Laura". Ad oggi nessuno mi ha contattato. Il giorno 20/04/25 ho scritto alla Maggiore che ha risposto di non avere i dati del volo nè l'orario di arrivo e quindi non ci hanno aspettato come invece sarebbero tenuti a fare (allego mail) Di conseguenza richiedo l'annullamento della prenotazione e il rimborso del taxi e mi riservo di quantificare anche i danni che abbiamo subito dal non avere una macchina durante il viaggio. E' inaccettabile lasciare una famiglia a quell'ora a piedi in aeroporto. In mancanza di un riscontro entro 15 giorni dal ricevimento della presente, non esiterò ad adire le vie legali a tutela dei miei diritti. Davide Lauria

Specially if you haven't requested any out of hours collection. You were expected to be at the office shortly before 23:30, as that was your selected collection time. However, your flight landed at 23:32, making it impossible for you to reach the rental desk on time. Additionally, we can see that this was the originally scheduled arrival time of your flight, meaning there was no delay. It then appears the booking was made incorrectly, as it is not advisable to set the vehicle collection time to match your flight’s landing time, especially when the office closes at that exact hour. It is important to allow sufficient time to reach the desk before closing. To obtain a refund of a prepaid booking you must cancel it before the start of your rental using the links contained in the voucher or through the My Booking section of our website. This is all incorrect. As per Maggiore mail attached previously, they have to wait until 01:30 that specific flight but no information has been transferred to their systems . I have correctly put the relevant information. Moreover no messages were given at the time of the booking to advise on closure time or additional costs in case needed. Thus, once again I will not accept any charge of the credit card and I ask you again to refund the 130€ for the taxi.

Both the confirmation voucher and the website informed you that the closing time was 11:30 p.m. and that if you wanted to pick up the car later, you had to request an after-hours service at a cost of €70. When you saw that your flight was delayed, you should have contacted the local office to request this service, or modified/cancelled the reservation yourself, since the selected fare had a flexible rate. We have attached the confirmation voucher at the bottom of the email for your convenience. We apologize for the inconvenience, but a refund for the reservation is not applicable. Again, Maggiore wrote me that if they had the information on their systems they would have waited us. Can you please read it?? So it's not my fault. The flight was not delayed. We boarded normally and stop. Afterward I was flying without any possibility to advise or cancel anything. At this point I will proceed by legal way It is really a shame that you treat your customers in this way.
