Thank you for your email.
We have contacted the rental company regarding your situation, and they have informed us that upon your arrival at the office, there was an issue with your credit card when trying to process the remaining payment of €45.36, as your card was repeatedly declined.
The rental company made multiple attempts to process the payment, but it was unsuccessful. They also asked if you had another card, but you confirmed you did not. They inquired about using a debit card or paying for the insurance, but you declined.
As per the terms and conditions of your booking, upon arrival, you were due to pay the remaining amount for the rental along with the deposit preauthorisation.
Since this could not be processed, we regret to inform you that no refund is due, as the reservation could not be completed.
If you would like us to reopen your case, please send us proof that you had a valid credit card with sufficient funds available, and we will review your situation accordingly.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
