CPTIT01852517-11Dear Sir/Madam,We refer to your correspondence, dated 10/8/2023.We sincerely regret the inconvenience incurred to the passengers, however we would like to draw attention to the following. To ensure that we board and depart on time, check-in desks close 40 minutes before the scheduled departure timeand all passengers should be at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before departure, as the gate closes 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. This requirement is stated on customers' boarding passes and travel itinerary as well as in our Terms and Conditions, agreed to at the time of purchase(s:www.ryanair.com/ie/en/useful-info/help-centre/terms-and-conditions):The departure gate for each Ryanair flight is displayed on the airport information screens, and above the gate itself. Gate and flight information is displayed inthe '˜Day of Travel Assistant' in our app and on screens at the airport. It is each customer's responsibility to arrive at the correct gate in time for their flight. We cannot delay other passengers by accepting late customers for travel. The measures we take are necessary to ensure that our flights depart on time, and our customers who arrived at the boarding gate on time are not inconvenienced. Customers who miss their flight, have the option to pay a missed departure fee if they wish to continue their journey. We confirm that the passengers paid the missed departure fee and boarded the operative flight FR3002 from STN to CIA on 7/8/2023.Regarding the above mentioned, we regret to inform you that no entitlement to compensation arises under EU261/2004 Regulation. Moreover, please kindly note that we are not in the position to process the refund request. We hope that the above clarifies the matter.Kind regards,Kinga Loretta SRegulator Support Specialist Ufficiolegale 10 Aug 2023, 09:54 IST EXTERNAL EMAIL:This email originated from outside of the Ryanair Group organisation.
