Dear Lufthansa, I send you here below what I have also send using the “Feedback Format” on your webpage on 03/11/2024 at 18.01, but I never received a feedback. I discovered today that my flight for Goteborg, planned on 05/11/2024 (booking code TIKZ7J) has been wrongly rebooked to the 30/08. Today I called your service center, and they informed me that the flight planned on 05/11/2024 has been rebooked to 30/08/2024. I have certainly asked to rebook a flight, but it was the one planned on 24/08/2024 (booking code TI3QVA). Indeed, the flight on 24/08 (same root) resulted today has not taken. Your system shows that on the 30/08, I flew with the rebooked ticket from 05/11. Probably there was an issue with your system and instead of rebooking the flight from 24/08 (booking code TI3QVA) the flight on 05/11 (booking code TIKZ7J) has been rebooked on 30/08/2024. My request was to move the 24/08 flight to 30/08 and keep the 05/11 as it was planned on 05/11. In addition, I have not even received any automatic refund for the airport taxes from the not flew ticket on 24/08. This would have given me the possibility to react already at the end of August, by being informed that a refund was at my disposal since I have not flown on 24/08. Instead, I have just discovered it short before the departure by contacting your service center. Your service center indicates to me today that the only one solution for me and my daughter was to buy again a flight ticket and request compensation for it. So, I did today, by buying another ticket for 06/11/2024 (booking number VB2KB3). This also means that I have to delay one day my departure with significant inconveniences. The flight on 05/11/2024 was incredibly expensive and I could not afford it. Therefore, as indicated by your service center, I´m writing you to request full compensation for the flight that I was obliged to buy again today (booking number VB2KB3). Best Regards Alice Biondi

Information about your claim C-224028-Z3M7 Case C-224028-Z3M7 Thank you for contacting us Your reference: Our reference: C-224028-Z3M7 To whom it may concern, Thank you for your correspondence dated June 8, 2025 regarding the case mentioned above. The flight guests claims for compensation and ticket refund due to alleged incorrect rebooking. Please allow us to explain the situation as below: The flight guests had two bookings. One booking with flights from Gothenburg to Bologna in July 2024 and return in August 2024.The second booking was for flights from Bologna to Gothenburg in November 2024. The flight guests made a rebooking (rebooking fee was paid in accordance with the selected and accepted fare conditions) for the second booking and changed the flights from November 2024 to another date in August 2024. The first booking was used for the outbound flights. The inbound flights were not used and the refund was already processed in accordance with the fare conditions to the original form of payment. Since the rebooking of the second booking was initiated by the flight guest and no error on Lufthansa side occurred, we ask for your understanding that compensation and further refund is not applicable in this case. Since the flight guests had no further flights in November due to her rebooking decision, she purchased new flights for November in a third booking. This booking is used.
