On December 28, 2024, I posted the sale of my Valentino Garavani belt on your website. The sale price was €345, so I would earn €300 after your fees. In the following days, I received several purchase offers at lower prices, which I always refused (as shown in the attached screenshots). On January 13, I automatically sold the belt, which is unusual because you usually have to accept the sale. The VC system sent me a notification informing me that my belt had been sold for €301, without my acceptance. Seeing the highlighted price, I thought I had still earned the €300 I intended to gain. So, I shipped the belt. A few days later, I realized that the amount I would receive was only €225, €75 less! I then contacted customer service, who informed me that the lower price was decided by me by joining a campaign. I communicated that I had never joined any price reduction initiative; in fact, I can prove that I repeatedly refused purchase offers at lower prices (as shown in the attached screenshots). I then checked my email and found no confirmation email for joining the price reduction campaign. I checked the SPAM folder and saw that I had received an email on January 9, 2025, informing me that I had been included in the campaign and that I could withdraw if I wanted. But how could I withdraw if I had not joined? And why do these communications end up in SPAM, while other VC emails arrive in my inbox? Furthermore, I was permanently banned from messaging, so I could not communicate with the buyer and did not even receive their purchase offer: the VC system decided to lower the sale price autonomously and confirm the sale at a reduced price without my formal consent! When I requested evidence of my authorization to lower the price and sell the item for €75 less, VC Customer Care could not respond! The VC website and app are not clear, and the management of item sales is confusing. I have been defrauded! My request is to receive my belt back or to receive the requested price (€300). In the absence of a response within 15 days of receiving this notice, I will not hesitate to take legal action to protect my rights.
