I am writing to formally contest the unexpected and unjustified cancellation of my reservation for the cruise I had regularly booked and paid for in September. Attached you will find my responses to your inquiries, along with the reservation documents containing all the necessary details, including payment information.
I would also like to express my concern regarding the fact that Nice Tour is still selling the same cruise at a significantly higher price than the one I originally paid. This situation is unacceptable, as it appears that my reservation was cancelled only to be resold at a price three times higher.
I wish to emphasize that this cancellation, communicated without any prior notice or explanation, has caused me considerable financial damage. I had already incurred non-refundable expenses for hotels in Aswan and Luxor, as well as for transfers, all arranged specifically for the excursion booked in August. Furthermore, this trip was intended as a birthday gift for my father, which makes the incident even more serious from both a personal and organizational standpoint.
In light of the above, I hereby formally request:
The official reasons for the cancellation of my reservation.
The prompt issuance of a full refund of the amount already paid.
An appropriate compensation proposal for the damages incurred, which I can document with the relevant non-refundable expenses.
The provision of an alternative solution that ensures the same level of service and dates originally booked.
Should I not receive a clear and definitive written response, I reserve the right to contact the relevant consumer protection organizations and to take any necessary action to safeguard my rights, including public disclosure of the service issue encountered.
