Dear Vinted Support Team,
I am writing to formally object to the handling of my current dispute, which involves a fraudulent attempt by the buyer to claim a refund for an item they did, in fact, receive correctly. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and resolved in a way that protects honest sellers.
Timeline of Events:
1. I listed and sold an item on Vinted following all platform rules.
2. I carefully packaged and shipped the exact item as described in my listing. To ensure transparency, I recorded a clear video of the packaging and shipping process.
3. The buyer falsely claimed they received the wrong item, despite my video evidence proving otherwise.
4. I promptly informed Vinted of this fraudulent claim and provided screenshots from the video as requested.
This situation is unacceptable. Dismissing my case without reviewing the full video evidence means actively siding with a scammer and setting a dangerous precedent where fraudulent buyers can exploit the system without consequence.
My Formal Request:
Do not issue a refund to the buyer based on their false claim.
Acknowledge the video evidence I have offered, which clearly disproves the buyer’s allegations.
Verify the weight of the parcel with the shipping company to further confirm that no substitution occurred.
Take action against the buyer for attempting to defraud both me and the platform.
Escalation Notice:
If this matter is not properly addressed, I am prepared to escalate this complaint to consumer protection authorities and other relevant organizations that oversee e-commerce disputes. I will also publicly document my experience to warn other sellers about the risks of fraud on Vinted.
I expect a fair and immediate resolution to this matter. Please confirm that the buyer will not be refunded based on their baseless claim.
